Door to Door Charity
The spike of coronavirus cases in Selangor has reversed the decreasing trend on poverty, causing it to increase to 8.4% in 2020 as referred to the Department of Statistics Malaysia. According to Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS), the number of “asnaf and fakir miskin” is expected to increase to 80,000 people during the pandemic.
Asnaf ‘fakir’ and asnaf poor families in Kampung Paya Jaras, Sungai Buloh, Selangor consist of families that have lost their source of income, have unsecured jobs, persons with different abilities (OKU), and single mothers. The donation is being collected for 15 families who cannot afford to sustain basic necessities.
In order to lessen their burden, we, All in Stand for Society from UMW Perantisan Trainee representing UMW Training Academy would like to help them by giving food baskets. Each basket contains basic necessities to fulfill its needs.
We would really appreciate it if you could join us to give them a hand by donating. We are thrilled to have your support. Through your donation, we have been able to accomplish Door to Door Charity for Asnaf families. As human beings with generosity, together, we are able to help them and give them hope that their struggles are heard.
No amount is too little. #KitaJagaKita
