In the midst of the world food catastrophe are the children of Pakistan.
Inability to develop normally and to the fullest of their potential, nearly half of all children under the age of five, have stunted development. 25% of parents are compelled to send their kids to work to supplement their revenue.
But food is their answer.
Pakistani children can prevent stunting and receive the nutrition they need to grow up healthily with regular school lunches. Children who have parents who can afford to send them to school can get the education they need to open the door to a better future.

'Do not show lethargy or negligence in giving alms and charity until your last breath.'
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Sahih Bukhari
In Pakistan, 25% of parents are left with no option but to depend on their children to quit their education and earn additional income.
However, school meals have the potential to change this situation, as demonstrated by the Fayaz brothers.
The Fayaz brothers are twin siblings residing in Pakistan with their brothers and sister. Their family has always struggled with providing enough food for everyone, and since the death of their father, the responsibility has fallen solely on their mother, making it even more challenging.
For them, the solution lies in food.
Thanks to the provision of regular and nutritious school meals, the Fayaz brothers are growing up healthy and working towards fulfilling their dream of becoming police officers and collaborating to create a better world.
